Back in October we launched Mapzen Search on Android. We are excited to tell you that today Mapzen Search is now available on iOS.
Mapzen Search is powered by entirely open data from a few high quality sources. Features of this service include forward geocoding, reverse geocoding, and autocomplete. With the results from any of these queries, you can fetch details on the location using the place endpoint.
Like Mapzen Search uses the Pelias project, Mapzen Search for iOS uses the Pelias iOS project. Take a look at the documentation to help get you started or checkout the sample app for a working example.
Stay tuned all this week as we post about a different part of the Mapzen iOS SDK every day and how it can be helpful to your location based apps. If you missed the earlier posts in this series you can go back and check them out!
