As you may have heard, we made a bike map! We’ve gotten a lot of great feedback and are working on making safer routes more prominent on the map, combining bike route relations with bike infrastructure and street type. Here’s a sneak peek of how our bike map is evolving in Portland:

But we need your help to make it even better all across the planet! Bicycle infrastructure varies dramatically around the world, both in quality and name. Some places have bike-friendly, traffic-calmed Greenways and Bike Boulevards, while others have Green Waves with lights timed for bikes. Some places even have “living streets” where cars are permitted, but bikes and pedestrians have priority.
